The summer haircut to copy: Elisabetta Canalis’ shag

Runway, light and with a wonderful sunkissed effect: this is how the 43-year-old model's hair is ready for summer.

She lightens "Elisabetta Canalis' hairlook, who for summer 2022 chooses one of the most trendy haircuts of the season: a wavy and short shag with caramel brown shatush, made in the trusted Aldo Coppola salon in Milan.

The showgirl thus began the holidays between Ibiza and her beloved Sardinia, shortening her long hair into a more manageable and low-maintenance cut, so as not to give up adventures and swimming in the sea.

Elisabetta Canalis, the new short and wavy shag cut

After a winter with long hair, the 43-year-old showgirl has chosen to change her look and give a twist to her hair by opting for one of the most popular haircuts of the season, the shag cut.

Just above her shoulders, the new look was created by Niky Epi, who has always been one of the hairstylists of the Aldo Coppola team to whom Elisabetta Canalis relies for the care of her hair.

The hairlook has a length that touches the shoulders and a wide scaling that lightens and gives movement to the entire hair, halfway between a shag and a bob. The result adapts perfectly to the texture of her fine hair and gives it more volume.

Absolutely suitable for the summer season, it can be left to dry in the open air and does not require special maintenance to express its full potential.

Sunkissed effect with caramel shatush

High change was the one related to the hair color, which went from an intense dark brown to a caramel-colored shatush with small lighter and tending to blond hairs.

The effect obtained is that of a sun-kissed hair, like returning from a long beach holiday. The summer look is then accentuated by the slightly wild styling, which is reminiscent of beach waves but appears much more natural.

“Chin Bang”: the new fringe-tuft by Canalis

Finally, the entire hairlook is embellished by the trend of the season, the Chin Bang a new long version of the curtain fringe that can be worn both with the central parting and thus forming a sort of frame in front of the face, or as a tuft, thanks to the side line.

Ideal for giving movement, it is the “icing on the cake” of medium haircuts, because it allows you to experiment and go from a wilder style suitable for the day, to a more glamorous and elegant one for the evening.
