On February 8, 2023, the 31-year-old attended a New York Fashion Week kickoff party. For the occasion, Emma Roberts opted for a white dress in a trendy midaxi length. What also makes the dress particularly beautiful? The interplay of tight and wide, because the top of the dress with its cups and tight fit met a rather loose skirt in A-line. To go with the dress, Emma Roberts opted for rather discreet jewelry – and eye-catching black ankle boots with platform soles. And exactly these are the supposed no-go to the dress. Because it was often predicted in the past that such a hard color as black as an accessory to the rather romantic white forms too strong a contrast and should therefore not be chosen with it, also because the legs then visually "look too choppy". We say: This style rule is long outdated! Because exactly the contrast between the colors (black meets white!) and also the styles (a rather romantic dress meets edgy boots!) is what makes Emma Roberts' look an eye-catcher.
So, our plea to you: don't let yourself be guided by outdated style rules when styling, but just try around confidently.
