Brad Pitt focuses on “genderless”

How can you stay on the crest of the wave without approaching the new generations? Brad Pitt seems to have understood this. If once his stage presence was enough to drive fans and admirers crazy, now that the Hollywood star has reached maturity (59 in December) he has decided to wink at young people. How? Starting first from fashion. This is what is happening in these hot and hectic days of promotion, as he is busy presenting his most recent work, Bullet Train, around the world.

The latest issue in Berlin is an example of this. Brad Pitt spoke clearly: genderless fashion is not the prerogative of Generation Z alone. And if the pink jacket and crumpled linen shirt are two great classics, the novelty is from the waist down thanks to a flared brown skirt that reached him to the knee. A look that the former Mr. Jolie completed with a pair of powerful boots on his feet. On the surface, nonsense, which, however, acquires depth if you look at current fashion trends.

Star fashion is genderless

It is certainly not the first star to dare in this sense. Harry Styles made it a trademark, Mahmood showed up in a skirt at the Sanremo Festival and on the turquoise carpet of Turin's Eurovision last May and Oscar Isaac also wore a suit with a pleated skirt. But if the first two are artists under 30, belonging to another generation, Brad Pitt comes from a different historical period, in which men's and women's clothes were quite distinct, and he was the undisputed symbol of the macho. Times, however, are changing and the actor has guessed it before others: masculinity is no longer measured with t-shirts and trousers.
