We thought we would see an acrimonious divorce, between accusations of concealment of assets and tattoo covered by a portrait of a dog. It will not be: according to People, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin are back together. "They decided to meet at home, where they talked and they were able to resolve their conflicts. They are both very happy," the star's spokesperson confirmed to Page Six on Friday.
Last week, the 76-year-old actor had delivered a hint about a potential reconciliation: "Wonderful," he himself had written on his Instagram account, captioning a publication showing him hand in hand with the one he married in 1997.
A very strange tattoo
A month ago, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, 54, had announced their separation, giving reason to rumors born of a very strange action: the actor of Rocky had replaced the portrait of his wife tattooed on his right arm by a drawing of Butkus, his beloved dog that he had during the 70s. The spokeswoman of the actor had then denied any disagreement within the couple, ensuring that he had "wanted to refresh the tattoo of his wife Jennifer but the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, irreparable.
A few days later, the couple confirmed: "Even though we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the relationship we have shared for over 30 years and I know that we are both devoted to our beautiful daughters," Jennifer Flavin had written in a statement sent to People, referring to their three daughters, Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet, aged 25, 24 and 20 years. According to legal documents obtained TMZ, she then accused her future ex of hiding assets, including real estate, to limit the sharing of their fortune, which he had denied.
The underside of this temporary separation could well become public: the Stallone family is in the middle of filming "a reality show all together, which will be broadcast on Paramount+," in the words of the spokeswoman for the actor.
