After breaking the news on the red carpet, Blake Lively has now officially confirmed that she is pregnant with her fourth child.

On September 15, the "Gossip Girl" star shared a series of photos of her pregnancy to scare off pushy paparazzi: "Here are photos of my pregnancy in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my house for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone. Thank you to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications that share photos of children. You guys have the power. And thank you to the media who have a 'No Kids Policy'. You are all making a difference 🙏♥️. Much love! Xxb"
The slideshow features photos from various stages of Blake Lively's pregnancy, most notably a sweet image of the actress about to apply sunscreen in a red cut-out swimming costume. This particular desaturated filter over the image is a favourite of Blake Lively's famous friend Taylor Swift. Of course, the singer also appears in the pictures hugging a pink bikini-clad Blake Lively. Apparently she was there to pick baby names for her next album. (Pay close attention to the lyrics of her new album "Midnights"…. that's all I'm saying.)
Of course, Ryan Reynolds is also there for the photos. The couple has been married since 2012 and have three daughters together: seven-year-old James, five-year-old Inez and two-year-old Betty.
Blake Lively wants to protect her children from paparazzi
In July 2021, Blake Lively reached out to the media and her fans asking them not to post photos of her children after a particularly scary interaction with a paparazzi photographer in New York City.
In a comment under an Instagram picture from the same day, shared by the @DailyMailAu and now deleted, the actress told the real story: "You're cropping these pictures to make it look like I'm waving happily. But that's a deception," Blake Lively wrote, "the real story is: my kids were molested by a man all day. He jumped out. And then he hid again. A stranger on the street even approached him because she was so upset to see it. When I tried to calmly approach the photographer you [DailyMail] had hired to take these pictures to talk to him, he ran away. And jumped out again at the next block."
Let's hope the rest of Blake Lively's pregnancy is healthy, happy and paparazzi-free.
