Watches are not all the same, only some, in fact are able to cross the years turning into icons. Sometimes they are unapproachable models in terms of prices and waiting lists, others, they can be considered the gateway to the universe of luxury. Of course they still represent an investment, but between 2,000 and 5,000 euros there are models that can be purchased even immediately online and for which it is worth starting to save. It is designed for dives to 500 meters (1,000 feet) the titanium and steel case of Tudor's Pelagos Lhd, with a bracelet featuring a patented extension system. The unidirectional rotating titanium bezel graduated 60 minutes has a matte black ceramic disc and graduations with beige luminescent material. The date window alternates between even numbers in red and odd numbers in black. Moving it is a Cosc-certified manufacture movement. Price: 4,940 euros.

Montblanc

Part of the Heritage collection, within which Montblanc offers watches with a vintage flavor, echoing the Minerva creations of the 1940s and 1950s, this model has a 40 mm steel case with a case back carefully engraved with a reproduction of the Villeeret manufacture, combined with an alligator strap. The automatic movement offers central hour, minute and seconds indications and a date window. Price: 2,410 euros.

Baume & Mercier

The Riviera line can rightly be considered among Baume & Mercier's most interesting rediscoveries.
