Videos with clips of the trial circulating online are accompanied by pro Johnny Depp commentary. Amber Heard is described as a manipulator in search of money.

For those who still don’t know, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are in court after the Hollywood actor sued his ex-wife for defamation, following a Washington Post editorial that appeared in 2018, in which the actress told of domestic abuse suffered.

The trial, decidedly in the media, began on April 11 last year (on April 9, Amber Heard announced on her Instagram page that she would remain offline for the duration of the trial). Some clips of the testimonies released by the two actors have circulated on the net, in particular on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. The comments left by the followers of the various social channels are for the overwhelming majority pro Johnny Depp. They range from “Free Johhny” to “Justice for Johnny Depp”.
