Olivia Rodrigo: The singer convinces in a slip dress with THIS chic design twist

Olivia Rodrigo shows us how to wear and combine slip dresses now!

How about some outfit inspiration for going to a concert à la Olivia Rodrigo? Singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo was spotted wearing a super cool look while leaving a Chappell Roan concert in New York City. Rodrigo chose a hip slip dress in a silky lingerie look for the concert visit. Slip dresses we are used to by now, but in midi or maxi length and more elegant than sexy. Olivia Rodrigo, however, made her look party-worthy instead of prom-worthy and chose a super-short nightgown-style slip dress instead of a long one. The nightgown association was especially reinforced by the neckline with sophisticated lace details in a lingerie look. However, Olivia Rodrigo skillfully averted the bedroom look with her choice of footwear.

Here's how Olivia Rodrigo makes her lingerie look pretty cool and evening-appropriate

If Olivia Rodrigo had chosen high heels to go with her classy nightgown look, the look would be chic, but mainly one thing: perfect for the bedroom. But the singer, to her surprise, chose a completely different and, above all, cool footwear to create a successful contrast. Rodrigo combines her "nightie" with a pair of chunky loafers and white socks! Seems like this is Generation Z's answer to the Converse and dress combination that Demi Lovato sang about in her 2008 song "La La Land".

Loafers, by the way, are becoming more and more popular as celebrities and influencer:ins are slowly but surely starting to incorporate fall inspiration into their wardrobes. Hailey Bieber recently chose an outfit similar to Olivia Rodrigo's on vacation, pairing her own little black dress with the same sock and shoe combo.

We're looking forward to more fall inspiration and can't wait to start pairing stockings and tights with loafers more often again!
