Khloé Kardashian speaks for the first time about her second child with Tristan Thompson

She revealed, "My children challenge me as a person."

A new baby is part of Khloé Kardashian's life. In early August, in fact, her second son was born, who arrived when his parents were already separated by the time the couple formed by Kardashian and NBA basketball player Tristan Thompson announced their separation as early as January 2022. The conception of True Thompson's little brother (4 years old, the couple's first daughter) was via gestation by others.

Gestation for others: a choice also made for health reasons

Speaking of early 2021 Khloé Kardashian had told in an episode of the last season of the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"They said there is a chance around 80 percent of having a miscarriage. I almost lost True early in the pregnancy. But I didn't know it was a persistent thing. I'm just trying to bring as much love as I can into my life and my family, but I seem to be forced to run into more and more obstacles. It's very hard for me to digest."

Thus, the choice to resort to gestation for others. A choice that many other Hollywood stars have adopted: from Sarah Jessica Parker to Elton John. But, without straying too far, even Kim Kardashian herself: her third and fourth children with Kanye West came via gestation for others.

Khloé Kardashian's first words about her second son.

After weeks of silence, the entrepreneur finally spoke about her second child she had with former partner Tristan Thompson. She did so in an interview with Elle.

"I know it's cliché but I love everything about parenting. Even the hard times. My children challenge me as a person. And it's an honor and a gift to be able to turn little people into really amazing people."

She concluded. "We have to take these roles seriously, especially in this day and age with the accessibility that children have and the information they are exposed to at such a young age. It's super scary but I take my role very seriously. I enjoy it so much."
