Kris Jenner is so rich she forgot she owns a condo in Beverly Hills

It is safe to say that Kris Jenner is for all intents and purposes the mastermind behind the Kardashian-Jenner phenomenon: she successfully manages the jobs of the entire crew of millionaire and celebrity daughters, then collecting 10 percent from each engagement.

So we are not surprised by her wealth, her lavish and often out-of-touch life, and yet, in the second episode of the new series The Kardashians, it is impossible not to be struck by a little joke: Kris Jenner nonchalantly admits that she forgot that she owns an apartment in Beverly Hills!

It is safe to say that Kris Jenner is for all intents and purposes the mastermind behind the KardashianJenner phenomenon: she successfully manages the jobs of the entire crew of millionaire and celebrity daughters, then collecting 10 percent from each engagement.

Well, yes, accompanied by her third-born daughter Khloé Kardashian, Kris returns to one of her homes and sets about searching the refrigerator, which, of course, stores not a rotten apple or a tray of bruised tomatoes but dozens of bottles of Champagne.

Even the daughter, who is not exactly penniless, is heard to tell her mother, "I can't wait until I am so wealthy that I forget I have an apartment somewhere."

Apparently, the luxurious 4 forgotten walls were used by the family as a place to unwrap or sort Christmas presents, a kind of California Lapland in short, nothing more.

The scene divides the audience: there are those who can't help but lecture about the family's excessive luxury and privilege, and those who find the incident so absurd that they laugh.

The KardashianJenner crew, has built a career on their being totally detached from reality, non-drama dramas and opulence. We follow their stories even a bit to catapult ourselves into another world, well aware that the reality of the majority is another.

In the end, we all have memory lapses: some forget their house keys and some forget the whole house. That's it!
