Jennifer Lopez says yes to second-hand: the wedding dress is used

To get married with Ben Affleck, the pop star wore two very different white dresses. The first vintage and minimal, the second opulent and dreamy, signed by Zuhair Murad. For a one-of-a-kind wedding in Las Vegas.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally husband and wife. After the canceled wedding in 2004 and last year's intense flashback, the pop star and the actor said yes this Saturday during an intimate ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. For JLo, two changes of clothes and flawless make-up, for Affleck a candid look, straight from one's wardrobe. For a truly low-key wedding.

Jennifer Lopez's white dress (used)

On the occasion of one of the most anticipated weddings of the year, Lopez chose the path of simplicity, opting for a dress, the first, with a strong sentimental value. "I have had this dress for many years, and I have continued to keep it aside, and today I wear it on my wedding day," wrote the singer in her newsletter On the JLo, where she announced the event. The dress in question is made of a white embossed fabric and is characterized by a boat neckline and full skirt. A simple, elegant and refined look.

The change of look

To walk towards the altar of the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez chose to wear a second dress, this time by Zuhair Murad, one of the pop star's most loved designers. To pronounce the fateful 'I want it', Lopez showed off a strapless sweetheart neckline dress with long sleeves and a lace-covered bodice, also featured in the skirt with a long train.

Baroque, opulent, dreamy: the aesthetic universe of Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad has long accompanied Jennifer Lopez on the most important red carpets with voluminous and brilliant looks. A curiosity? In the film Marry Me, released in theaters last February, JLo married a stranger caught by the crowd – Owen Wilson – wearing a Murad suit. In that case it was a long dress with a strapless bodice and a maximum volume skirt, studded with crystals and brilliant decorations.

All about the Bennifer wedding

"Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And apparently he is also patient. Able to wait twenty years. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Las Vegas, we waited in line for the marriage license with four other couples, all eager to live the same experience in the city of weddings" reads the newsletter of the pop star, who for the first time signed with the name Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

For the big day, Ben Affleck also chose to wear something already present in his closet: a cream-colored tuxedo, combined with a white shirt, with a black bow tie and a white rose pinned to the lapel of his jacket. The bride and groom arrived at the chapel in a pink Cadillac, which would have belonged to the real Elvis Presley, accompanied by Lopez's children, the twins Emme and Maximilian, who witnessed.

After almost twenty years of waiting, JLo and Ben Affleck are finally husband and wife.

JLo anticipated the times and bypassed the paparazzi. Yesterday the pop star and Latin actress, as well as a business woman of large numbers, married her love of her life Ben Affleck. She announced it herself to her fans through her newsletter, the title of which was We did it!. The couple exchanged rings in a Las Vegas chapel, happier than ever.

Let's focus now on the bride's beauty look. JLo, as always, looks (at least) 20 years younger than her age, considering that she is about to blow out 53 candles. The two-time mom ditched her caramel highlights for the ceremony, sporting a brown shade of hair. Do you want naturalness on your wedding day? Probably yes.

Her trusty hairstylist and colorist Chris Appleton opted for a wavy, bouncy style, opting for a vaguely retro semi-crop, emphasized by a subtle backcomb on the crown of the head. With the soft, hyper feminine waves loose on her shoulders, JLo looked like a fairytale princess.

The make-up, of course, celebrated Jlo's radiant skin and golden hue, her undisputed trademark. Contouring artfully made with foundation, bronzer and highlighter and nude lips dressed in a creamy flesh-colored lipstick with a slightly shiny finish.

And then an important focus on the gaze. Jlo's fawn eyes have been enhanced to perfection by eye shadows in shades of bronze, plum and brown, artfully blended on the upper eyelid. Then kilos of mascara and dark pencil to make the look deep and magnetic. Last but not least, sculpted eyebrows, perfectly shaped and intensified by brown crayon matching the hair.
