A clan united in sadness. On Wednesday, Donald Trump attended, accompanied by his wife Melania and their teenage son Barron, the funeral of his ex-wife Ivana Trump. The former model and businesswoman died on July 14, after a fall in her New York apartment, at the age of 73.
Her three children also attended the religious service at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church. Donald Trump Jr came with his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle as well as his ex-wife Vanessa, the mother of his five children, including the eldest Kai, who spoke during the service. Ivanka Trump was with her husband Jared Kushner and two of their three children. The youngest of the siblings from the first marriage of the former president, Eric, was accompanied by his wife Lara. Tiffany Trump, the fourth child of Donald Trump born from his marriage to Marla Maples, came to show his support for his brothers and sister, with his fiancé Michael Boulos.
“She had intelligence, she had beauty. She represented the American dream. She was a force of nature," said Eric Trump, paying tribute to the talents of his mother, a former skier and model who "could beat any man on the slopes and any woman on a podium." "She raised us with an iron hand and a heart of gold," he said. "Growing up, my mother did not tell me that a woman could do anything she wanted: she showed it to me," added her sister Ivanka Trump.
