Olivia Wilde scared Jennifer Garner with the trailer for her new movie

The actress and director will present "Don't worry darling" at the next Venice Film Festival. And the film, starring boyfriend Harry Styles, promises strong emotions.

Olivia Wilde is ready, very ready indeed. Her wrists are shaking, but she doesn't show it because her great filmmaking test awaits her on the Lido in a few days: at the 79th Venice International Film Festival (from 31 August to 10 September). And she can't be caught unprepared.

There is a lot of talk about it, perhaps too much, because in the out-of-competition film Don't Worry Darling (in Italian cinemas from 22 September) he directs his partner, Harry Styles and it is already known that they will be the most paparazzi, picking up the scepter of gossip held by the Bennifer last year.

In short, in part, the buzz about the title derives from this game of mirrors between reality and fiction. Strange? Absolutely not, especially in Hollywood and in fact this strong-willed 38 year old knows it well, so not only does she not despise him, but she uses it for her benefit. In fact, it has just been leaked that her explicit effusions of her with Harry Styles (while she was still officially engaged to Jason Sudeikis) would have created more of an embarrassment on the set for Florence Pugh who in the story of her plays his wife.

Stories like that feed the myth of this project, a psychological thriller that, according to her, scared the hell out of her friend Jennifer Garner, who commented on the new trailer with a: "Man, now I'm really scared."

The audience's reaction to the trailer was a virtual standing ovation of applause and praise. According to the social reactions, the idea that the protagonist couple, the Chambers (Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, in fact), seems to be a perfect idyll of love and harmony and then turns out to be the bearer of dark mysteries.

Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde must also monitor the legal issue of custody of her two children, Otis and Daisy (eight and five years old). The court has granted her the exclusive custody of the children, which she seems to want to take with her to London on an upcoming move (the British capital, on the other hand, is home to the former One Direction). Ted Lasso's actor wanted the offspring with him in Brooklyn, while her partner managed to keep them in Los Angeles, where she currently resides. In the eyes of public opinion, the fact that her ex had her documents delivered while she was on stage presenting the film's materials certainly does not speak in favor of her.

In this very delicate moment, Wilde juggles like a juggler between public and private, trying to stem the interference of public life in her private life, even if by now that ship may have already sailed for a while.
