It has been four years since that September 1, 2018 when Chiara Ferragni and Fedez said "yes" in Noto. It was a fairytale wedding in which the smallest, but also the most important guest, was firstborn son Leone Lucia Ferragni, then 5 months old. Then in March 2021 another joy: the birth of the couple's second child, Vittoria. The last months, however, for the beautiful family have been the most difficult. The rapper last March had to undergo urgent surgery to remove a rare neuroendocrine tumor in his pancreas. In those dark, fear-filled days, Chiara always stood by his side. And now Fedez wanted to express all his gratitude to her in public. With a touching post on Instagram.
Fedez posted two shots of the wedding (in one appears little Leone) plus a short video in which he can be seen tearfully reading, at the altar, the letter written for Chiara. Accompanying the images are words full of love: "4 years of marriage together, never before has that phrase 'in joy and in pain, in health and in sickness' been imbued with a deep meaning almost impossible to explain in words. The nights cuddled together crying during a time full of uncertainties have strengthened us more than ever. Thank you for standing by me in this very complicated year, thank you for giving me the strength to face the disease but most of all thank you for giving me the most priceless thing of all: two beautiful children, the only reason to fight tooth and nail."
Then again, for Fedez, family is the most important thing. It was before the disease and it is even more so now. "When you go through experiences like this, you realize that one of the goals you give yourself is to see your children grow up. Here, this thing gives you a different spirit," he said recently on the sidelines of the presentation of his new project with J-Ax. For Fedez, a new phase of life has begun. And in this new phase at the center of his world are, now more than before, his children and wife Chiara Ferragni. The rapper and the influencer, having faced together the most difficult challenge they ever wanted to go through, are now closer than ever: "All the experiences I went through with her, everything that happened and that we experienced together could only intensify our relationship. We always tell each other that we are no longer just a couple, we are a real team," Fedez had said last June. Now, on their fourth wedding anniversary, the rapper wanted to reiterate in public all his gratitude to his wife who has always remained close to him, "in joy and in pain, in health and in sickness."
